This past weekend I spent quite a bit of time deciding what Duran Duran songs I wanted to put on a single disc.
Here is what I came up with:
1. Out Of My Mind (Perfecto Mix)
2. I Believe/ All I Need To Know

4. The Seventh Stranger (Live)
5. The Chauffeur (Acoustic Version)
6. We Need You
7. The Crystal Ship
8. Land
9. Fame
10. Winter Marches On
11. Come Undone (La Fin de Siecle)
12. Femme Fatale
13. Ordinary World
14. Drive By
15. Perfect Day
16. The Krush Brothers LSD Edit
17. Someone Else Not Me
18. Missing
Most of these songs are B-sides and minor hits, but I've heard the popular songs a million times.
"I Believe/ All I Need To Know" is one of my favorite DD songs and nobody else seems to have heard it.

11/14I would have added those too, but there wasn't any more room on the CD. Total time was 78:50.
"I Believe/ All I Need To Know" is a B-side from a 12 inch single. I think it was "Do You Believe in Shame?".

11/14It looks like I need to make a second disc. Late Bar needs to be in there somplace along with The Needle and the Damage Done, Hold Me, Serious etc.
This might be the new big trend: making CD collections of non-hits.
The Seventh Stranger from Arena is great! Much better than the studio version. I had Arena on cassette back in the '80's and I wore out that song. -

Thanks for sharing your list, Chuckster. The boys just have so much material. It just can't fit on one cd. I also made myself a cd with the popluar stuff along with the older stuff such as Late Bar, Fame, Faster Than Light, and Secret Oktober.
I think I may have to make another as well. You've got some cool B-sides in your collection.

11/15I used to make TAPES back in the day of all my 12" singles and B-sides...I still whip them out and listen in the car (I have a tape player in my car!!!)...Mostly of Depeche Mode, DD, Erasure, the Cure, Siouxsie, etc.
I need more time to make some Mix CD's! Especially from my DD boxset! -

I still play it when I drive the Greenbrier.

11/16Too many songs that are great... All of them.. To me, it would just be put all their CDs, live shows, DVDs (audio rips) into a huge multi disc player and hitting SHUFFLE...
