Tue, August 9, 2005 - 3:11 PMSadly there is no way this could be true: I just looked up Duran Duran on Pollstar and they will be playing in Japan on Saturday, so unless they have some super-teleporter machine Nick will physically not be able to DJ at Il Pirata this Friday....I'm sure the folks at Il Pirata will have a good laugh if you call! :) -

I hate Alice in general and Sarah/No Name specifically. Cannot listen to them and their ignorant babble. So freakin irritating. Last years Duran Duran song contest - I submitted a song and it was played on the radio and made it into the finalists, but the four mornings I listened to their crap show to hear the other songs (some wonderful ones that did not even make the finalists!) is time I will never get back.
Then when Duran Duran came to the radio on the fifth day(the prize for winning the song contest) it was obvious that neither one of those hacks even knew much about them - all they wanted to do was hear themselves talk - The band did not get much speaking time. Plus Alice kept the winners in a separate room from the band and only allowed them one question. -
